Two Performances:
3:00 pm and 6:30 pm

This special event features music honoring America, and some of the real-life and imaginary heroes we admire. Firefighters, search and rescue workers, peace officers, soldiers and veterans, and everyday heroes will be honored and featured in this unique event.

The Camellia Symphony joins forces with dozens of the finest musicians from Rosemont High School to amass an orchestra of 100 musicians. Special invited guests include firefighters and rescue workers involved in the 9/11 rescue efforts in 2001, as well as representatives from our armed forces, and special visits from two of the composers of the music we are performing:
Jessica Locke: "Reading of the Names"
Nancy Bloomer Deussen: "A Field in Pennsylvania"

Other music performed is taken from Dvorak's New World Symphony, The Terminator, Apollo 13, The Cowboys, Olympic Fanfare and Theme, Spider Man, and more.
